Met Gala '15

It is the coveted event that we all wait for every spring. One of the HAUTEst nights in New York City, bringing together fine art, fashion and entertainment. Anyone who is anyone is in attendance and whoever isn't vicariously lives through red carpet pictures on social media (we do it too). It is the Met Gala Ball!

This year's theme was China: Through the Looking Glass. Some celebrities, like Lady Gaga, took a more literal approach by sticking to a traditional Chinese silhouette.

Others, like Beyonce and Kim Kardashian West took a more risqué approach by wearing barely there, sheer gowns embellished with colorful jewels, resembling ancient Chinese glass.

Celebrities like Sarah Jessica Parker were also inspired by ancient Chinese culture and wore very elaborate headpieces.

The real showstoppers were the never ending, trailing trains. Rihanna in particular had four men assist her in carrying her train which solely covered the majority of the red carpet.
